A one of a kind Botanic Garden 8 inch compote pedestal dish in the original version of the Eastern Hyacinth or Hyacinthus Orientalis motif. The Hyacinth is an original salad plate flower. It was changed in 1985 to a different design with a change to color and butteries. It is very rare to see it on this pedestal dish shape.

This pedestal dish is in excellent shiny condition. The only issue I see are two leaves in the laurel border that are 'turned over'. Please be sure to click below and see the full description and more photos. The ID mark is a mustard color oval which could very likely be due to the small transfer flaw. It also could be that the Hyacinth was never applied to pedestal dishes and was a 'special decoration' piece.

The dish is very shiny and there is no sign of use, no crazing and no wear.
