I am happy to offer a hard to find Portmeirion Handpainted Studio Kitchen Garden Corn hand painted mug. It is a very unusual sample item with a Sample ID mark on the bottom.

It is in excellent condition and holds about 10 oz. Please see the photos below.


There is a very similar Corn painted on the reverse side (not pictured).

The Kitchen Garden pattern was introduced sometime after 1994 as a one of several hand painted Portmeirion Studio Hand Painted patterns. Unfortunately, most this high quality series was discontinued in 1997.

Size	A little over 3" across the top (not including the handle) and 3-1/2" high Liquid Capacity - 10 oz
Transfer	Carrot design is repeated on front and back with both perfect and colorful with no fading or other flaws seen
Ground	Very white
Glaze	No crazing or other glaze flaws noted
Chips/Cracks	None
Stains	None, except for a small bit of shelf wear on the unglazed bottom ring where it sits on a surface.
Use Marks	None
Other Comments	A nice retired and unique Portmeirion Hand Painted Carrot sample mug!

The bottom is marked only with a Portmeirion Sample ID mark and DW (Deborah Wood's initials).
