BOTANIC GARDEN PURPLE ROCK ROSE SALAD PLATE
Nice Retired Pretty Flower - Mint Condition - Never Used!
|
I am pleased to offer a retired Botanic Garden salad plate in the Purple Rock Rose
or Cistus Purpureus motif.
This plate is older, made sometime in the 1990's, with a Crest ID. Back
then, transfers were a little more fragile but have much brighter color
and better defined transfer than today. This plate is in new condition with no
crazing, shiny glaze, and bright motif! The UPC code is still attached on the bottom.
The Rock Rose motif was
introduced in 1980 on salad plates and retired not too long ago in 2002.
It was inspired by image in an 1824 book,The Universal Herbal
by Thomas Green.
