Very white

Glaze |
Nice shiny glaze overall with no flaws seen. There is overall crazing present that is so common on
the older bird's dishes. It is very clean and hard to see.

Use Marks |
There are some shallow, narrow, short, and hard to see stacking marks like from another piece stacked on top. Very hard to see unless looking closely in a very bright light.

Other Comments |
The bottom has full glaze applied. Some Portmeirion platters have an
unglazed bottom for use in the oven. Because of the age of this item, it would not be advisable to
use in the oven or microwave or subject it to any temperature extremes.
Not often seen green band Birds Of Britain Snipe platter!
