I am happy to present an excellent and rare Portmeirion Welsh Dresser 17 by 12 inch melamine rectangular tray.

This tray is in very nice condition but does have slight surface wear that I could only see when looking sideways in a bright light. Virtually all these melamine trays have some surface wear as they get little scratches and rubs very easily. This pattern, designed by Angharad Menna, emulates old Llanelli Ware. Produced for 100 years, but unable to compete with other potters, Llanelli Ware stopped production in the early 1900's. Portmeiron's Welch Dresser is a continuation of this art.

Size	Approximately 16-3/4" by 11-1/2" with an outside lip of about 1/2" high
Front/Back	Some overall minor shallow surface wear that I only noticed when looking closely and sideways in a bright light. No deep scratches that interfere with the design. Surface wear is very common on most Portmeirion trays like this.

Other Comments	An retired and rarely seen Welsh Dresser tray in overall nice condition!

The back of the tray is white and has a circular ID mark impressed into the center that says:
