BOTANIC GARDEN DAISY ROUND TRIVET
Original Version Of Flower - Felt Backed, Excellent!
|
I am pleased to present a Botanic Garden 6 inch wide round Daisy or Bellis Perennis ceramic
trivet. The green felt backed trivets, made in the UK, have been retired for about 10 years.
It is in excellent condition with no signs of use or wear.
The Daisy was an original 1972 flower on bread and butter plates and still
remains in production today. It is based on an image found in the 1835 botany
book with illustrations by William Clarke,Moral of Flowers, and
written by Mrs. Hey.

An excellent Botanic Garden round ceramic trivet!

There are no ID marks present but is definitely a Portmeirion transfer likely on a HR Johnson
round tile. The photo was taken at an angle so you can see the white tile edge on the right.
