I am pleased to present a Botanic Garden 9 by 8 inch oblong Blue Primrose or Primula Villosa trivet made of melamine plastic. It was made in Italy for Portmeirion. Newer items like this are now made in Asia. A few melamine accessory pieces in this style were made in small about 10 years ago.

It is in excellent condition with no signs of use or wear. There is a UPC code still attacked to the back so has probably never been used.


The Blue Primrose bread and butter plate was introduced in 1999 and remains in production to this day.

Hard to see in the photo, each end has a small indentation to facilitate handling. And, on the bottom there are four little feet where it sits.

Size	With rounded edges, is about 9" by 8" across the widest part of the top. Sitting on four little feet, is about 1/4" high.
