Great Condition With Very Hard To Find Queen Of Sheba Gooseberry!

I am happy to offer a Pomona romantic shape lidded sugar bowl featuring three retired fruits around the outside and a apple blossom on the lid. The featured fruits are all retired including the very rare Queen Of Sheba Gooseberry. This item is an older Pomona piece in super condition with NO crazing, scratches or wear!

The fruits are the Queen Of Sheba Gooseberry, Biggereaux Cherry, and L'Imperatrice Plum. All three motifs have been retired for years. The Queen Of Sheba gooseberry was one of the first to be discontinued and is quite rare today.

The lid carries a nice large Pomona Apple Blossom. All three fruits are accompanied by their names which can be seen from the bottom.

Condition Button
Size A little over 4" across at the widest point, 3" high (without the lid), 3-1/4" opening at the top. It sits on a little pedestal that is 1-3/4" across and 1/4" high.
Transfer All are very nice with no flaws and have great color
Ground Very white
Glaze No crazing, very shiny glaze, and no other glaze flaws seen
Chips/Cracks None

Mentioned to make a complete description, there is a tiny factory flaw on the unglazed bottom ring where it sits. It's about the size of a pin head and very hard to see.
Stains None, except a very little bit of shelf wear on the bottom unglazed ring where it sits on a surface. Very hard to see as noted in the photo above.

The round ID mark is a brown round Goddess Of Fruit backstamp. This backstamp was used until 1985.
