BOTANIC GARDEN SLENDER COLUMBINE SALAD PLATE
Retired Colorful Flower - Newer Insect Version!
|
I am pleased to offer an excellent Botanic Garden Slender Columbine or
Aquilegia Gracilis salad plate.
The dish is in wonderful condition with no crazing and a very bright, crisp, and
colorful overglaze transfer. When looking closely in a bright light, I do see a few very tiny, inconsequential, and hard to see
stacking marks in the white part of the plate. Please be sure to see the full description below.
The Slender Columbine motif, was introduced in
1984 on salad plates and was retired in 2000. There are at least two versions
of this motif with different insect arrangements. This plate has the most recent version, but do not know when the insects were changed.
