BOTANIC GARDEN VERY LARGE WHITE CISTUS SERIF VASE
Tall 11" Pretty Vase - Retired Triple Cistus Flowers!
|
I am happy to offer a very nice, mint, and large 11 inch White Cistus Serif shaped
vase. The Cistus flower has been long retired and the large size serif shape
vase no longer made.
It is in super shiny and mint condition with no signs of use or wear! Please see the photos and description below...
---> Three Views <---
The Cistus was introduced in 1972, as the Spanish Gum Cistus, and retired on plates
in 1985. After 1985, now called the White Cistus, it was still used on vases and the soup tureen.
However, I do not believe it is produced anymore on any shape. The very
large serif vase is no longer in production as well.
The Cictus motif is repeated on the front and back as are the butterflies.

A beautiful and impressive Botanic Garden vase!

It is marked on the bottom with a Crest ID mark and was likely made in the middle 1980's or early 1990's.
