I am pleased to offer a Portmeirion Pomona 8 inch compote pedestal dish in the retired L'Imperatrice Plum motif. Both this Plum and pedestal shape dish have been retired for many years and are no longer available.

This dish is in wonderful condition with few, if any, signs of use! Please see all the photos and complete description below...


The L'Imperatrice Plum was retired several years ago and is no longer available. The fruit came in slightly different versions. The older has black accents on the bottom of the fruit while the newer has purple accents. The fruit on this dish has blue fruit with black accents.

The shape is based on a low pasta bowl on top of a little pedestal which has ring of Pomona Ivy border around it.

Size	Approximately 8" across the top and 4" high
Transfer	Excellent color with no flaws
Ground	Very white
Glaze	No crazing, very shiny glaze, and no other glaze flaws seen
Chips/Cracks	None
Stains	None, except for the tiniest bit of shelf wear on the bottom unglazed foot where it sits.
Use Marks	Almost none. There are only two or three very shallow, short and hard to see marks likely from another item sitting on top. They are almost impossible to see and very, very minor.
Other Comments	An excellent and rare 8 inch L'Imperatrice Plum pedestal dish!

The item has a light brown color round Goddess Of Fruit ID mark used before 1986.
