POMONA FRUIT DRAINER WITH UNDERPLATE
Retired Shape, Very Useful And Rare - Minty Condition!
|
I am pleased to present a fantastic Pomona fruit drainer. It consists
of a bowl with a nice garland of Pomona fruits on the inside rim and four
larger named fruits on the outside. There are several holes in the bottom
and a saucer decorated with Pomona Ivy to catch water drips
from your cleaned fruit. This shape has been retired for a
number of years and is now not often seen.
Portmeirion fruit drainers came in two sizes. This is the larger size. The set is in mint condition with no signs of use or flaws.
The four fruits on the outside are pictured below. The Red Currant has been
retired for several years and is no longer available.
