BOTANIC GARDEN SOUP TUREEN LADLE - DAISY AND RHODODENDRON
Must Have Addition To Use With The Soup Tureen!
|
I am happy to offer a perfect Botanic Garden ladle commonly used with the
lovely Botanic Garden soup tureen. Some ladles came with a rope for handing, however, THIS LADLE HAS NO ROPE as seen in the photos.
The Daisy or Bellis Perennis flower is on the bowl inside while the
Rhododendron or Rhododendron Lepidotum graces the outside. It is in mint condition!
The Daisy was an original 1972 flower on bread and butter plates and still
remains in production today. It is based on an image found in the 1835 botany
book with illustrations by William Clarke,Moral of Flowers, and
written by Mrs. Hey.

The Rhododendron flower was an original 1973 coffee cup motif, was also
included on a bread and butter plate in 1988, and still remains in
production today. It was based on an image in an 1840 book,Moral of
Flowers by Mrs. Hey, illustrated by William Clarke, 1835 by A. Jacquemart.
