I am pleased to offer a Portmeirion Botanic Garden Sifter or Shaker in the original insect version of the Trailing Bindweed or Convolvulus motif. The Trailing Bindweed. The newer insect version of Bindweed is still being produced, but the sifter shape also has been retired for years.

Sifters can be used for flour, cinnamon sugar, shaking water and many other possible uses in your kitchen or bath. This item is in mint condition with no sign of use or wear.

The Trailing Bindweed motif is an original flower on bread and butter plates. There are two versions of Trailing Bindweed. In 1994, insects were rearranged. It was inspired by image in an 1824 book,The Universal Herbal by Thomas Green.

This sifter has the original Trailing Bindweed insect version.

All Botanic Garden sifters have a moth or butterfly on the back. This sifter has an interesting insect in many shades of brown!
