BOTANIC GARDEN TRAILING BINDWEED or CONVOLVULUS B And B PLATE
Newer Insect Arrangement With Bright Yellow Butterfly
|
I am pleased to offer an excellent Botanic Garden Trailing Bindweed or
Convolvulus Bread and
Butter plate. The Trailing Bindweed motif was recently retired in 2004 and is
no longer available. This plate has the newer, after 1994, insect version
with a nice large yellow butterfly.
It is in overall nice condition with no crazing, nice shiny glaze, and bright motif but does have a
few tiny transfer cuts on one leaf. Please be sure to look below to see a full description.
(Please excuse any white areas in the green Laurel border that are only glare from photo lighting.
The laurel is complete and perfect in person.)
The Trailing Bindweed motif is
an original flower on bread and butter plates and was recently retired in 2004.
There are two versions of Trailing Bindweed. In 1994, insects were rearranged.
It was inspired by image in an 1824 book,The Universal Herbal
by Thomas Green.
