BOTANIC GARDEN IVY LEAVED CYCLAMEN SPICE JAR - ORIGINAL VERSION
Original Four-Head Oatmeal Bowl Flower - Nice, With Clean Crazing

I am pleased to offer a Botanic Garden Ivy Leaved Cyclamen three inch high spice jar with a wooden lid. This motif is one of the six original oatmeal bowl flowers and is the original motif design with four flower heads. The Cyclamen is still produced on bread and butter plates but in a version with nine flower buds.

The canister is in nice condition with overall very clean crazing but little other signs of use! Even the bottom is quite clean and has excellent varnish on the lid. Please be sure to look below and see the full description and more photos...

The Ivy Leaved Cyclamen flower was an original oatmeal bowl motif, introduced in 1972, moved to a B & B plate in 1985, and still remains in production today. There are two different insect and flower versions. The oldest has four flower heads and the newer has nine heads. It was based on an image in an 1840 book,La Flore des Dames by A. Jacquemart.
