I am pleased to offer a Portmeirion National Trust Ickworth 9 inch high Ionic shape vase. This size large vase is hard to find and the vase is in great condition!

This design was created by Pat Albeck for the National Trust and specially made by Portmeirion. The pattern name is Ickworth and was discontinued many years ago.

The pattern is repeated on front and back the vase.

The ornate staff design on the front must have been inspired by some item in the property. Ickworth House has been part of the UK's National Trust since 1956. Click Here  to learn more about it.

Size	9" high, about 3-1/4" by 2-1/2" across the top and 2-1/2" by 1-1/2" across the bottom
Transfer	The front and side designs are repeated twice each on the vase. All the transfers are perfect and quite colorful.
Ground	Medium beige
Glaze	NO crazing, very shiny glaze with no flaws seen
Chips/Cracks	None, very clean inside and outside
Stains	None
Use Marks	None. It is very clean both inside and outside.
Other Comments	A rare and nice large size National Trust Ickworth Ionic shape vase!

This vase does not carry a Portmeirion ID mark but is guaranteed to be genuine Portmeirion made. Perhaps the area on the bottom of the vase was too small to place a backstamp.
