I am pleased to offer a very rare 4.5 inch wide Spirit Of Christmas ceramic lidded canister. Portmeirion lidded canisters are hard to find in any pattern and hardly ever seen in Spirit Of Christmas. It is in great condition with no damage and no signs of use.


The complex Spirit Of Christmas design was conceived by Susan Williams-Ellis and based on old quilt pattern designs. It was very time consuming to produce as each small image template was hand cut from paper. A charming pattern, produced only in 1983, it is now difficult to find.

The bottom carries a large beautiful Spirit Of Christmas ID mark.
