BOTANIC GARDEN PILLAR SHAPE CANDLE HOLDER
From The Retired Satin Collection - Holds Up To A 5-3/8 Inch Pillar Candle!
|
I am pleased to offer an unusual Portmeirion Botanic Garden Rhododendron candle holder
meant to hold up to a 5-3/8 inch pillar candle. This item was a part of the Botanic Garden Satin Collection (with a flat matte glaze) made about 10 years ago for a short time. Both this interesting candle holder and all other
Satin Collection items have been retired.
It is in new and mint condition with the UPC code still attached on the bottom.
The Rhododendron flower was an original 1973 coffee cup motif and later
included on a bread and butter plates in 1988. It remains in a current motif and is in
production today. It was based on an image in an 1840 book,Moral of
Flowers by Mrs. Hey, illustrated by William Clarke, 1835 by A. Jacquemart.
