POMONA WILMOTS RED AND QUEEN OF SHEBA GOOSEBERRY RAMEKIN
Both Named, Very Rare, And Retired Fruits - Excellent Condition!
|
I am pleased to offer a Portmeirion small ramekin featuring two of the most rare
and sought after Pomona Gooseberry fruits, Wilmot's Early Red and Queen Of
Sheba. I am not sure that ramekins are still
being made in the Pomona pattern and might be retired.
This dish is in
excellent condition with no flaws and very little, if any, signs of use! Please be sure
to look below for more photos and a full description.
Both Gooseberries were retired early and many years ago. They were continued
to be used as accent fruits on large pieces but were not accompanied by
their common name.
