I am happy to offer a discontinued Flowers Of The Year oval shape 3.25 inch wide trinket box. It features the lovely Carnation flower. This retired Portmeirion range, featuring 12 different flowers, was not made as a dinnerware pattern but produced on serving ware and decorative shapes. It was not made in large quantities. This pattern would go well with Botanic Garden.

The ID mark on the bottom is one of the prettiest and most detailed backstamps created by Portmeirion. Please see the bottom photo below. This trinket box is in excellent condition with no wear or crazing.


The Flowers Of The Year pattern, I believe, was made in the 1980's or 1990's and has been retired for at least 15 years. It was a short lived pattern and have not seen enough of it to know much about it.
