PORTMEIRION CHEMIST PRINTS 'WARREN'S EXHIBITION' JUMBO MUG
Retired And Hard To Find Vintage Portmeirion Item!
|
I am pleased to offer a vintage Portmeirion 'Warrens Exhibition Rotary Knife Cleaner' Chemist Prints
large 20 oz jumbo mug. The Chemist Prints pattern have not been made in many, many years.
The color in the photos below is a little washed out on the center right side
of the transfer because of a little photo light glare. In person, the color
is a consistent dark pink.
Soon after Susan Williams-Ellis bought Kirkham Pottery around 1960, she produced a new
pattern called Medicine Prints based on old copper engravings found in
Kirkham's attic. Shortly after, Medicine Prints turned into
Chemist Prints and was sold throughout the 1960's. Chemist Prints are found
on many different shapes and transfers are found in both color and black
and white.

There is one transfer on the front of the cup. The color is consistent and
