BOTANIC GARDEN BONSAI GARDENING KIT
Unique BG Boxed Item - Discontinued And Very Hard To Find!
|
I am happy to present a very unique and hard to find Botanic Garden Bonsai
Garden kit. It has not been used and comes in its original Portmeirion box.
However, since this set is at least 10 years old, the tree seeds included probably will not grow.
In excellent condition, the bonsai bowls are unglazed large ramekins with a hole in the
bottom of each. Please do be sure to see more photos and a full description below.
The kit consists of two Botanic Garden unglazed pots with a hole in each
bottom for drainage, growing medium, a white plastic starter pot with lid, and
two seeds. The set originally came with growing instruction literature, but
has been lost. I tried but was not able to get a copy of the literature from Portmeirion.

One pot flower is Heartsease and the other is Speedwell. They are both 'coffee cup'
flowers and are still in current production. The design for both came from
illustrations by William Clarke in
Mrs. Hey's botany book,Moral of Flowers.

The accessories are a white plastic pot on the left for starting a seed, two
seeds in a small plastic bag, and a green bag of growing medium.
