BOTANIC GARDEN 9 INCH AFRICAN DAISY SERIF VASE
Retired Dinner Plate Flower - Great Orange Color!

I am happy to offer a colorful 9 inch high African Daisy or Arctotis Grandiflora Serif shaped vase. The African Daisy motif was retired in 1990 and is no longer produced.

The vase is in excellent condition with no flaws seen! It has one African Daisy transfer along with a large butterfly and moth on the back. Please see the photos and description below...

The African Daisy was an original dinner plate motif produced from 1972 until retired in 1990. It was inspired by image in a 1824 book,The Universal Herbal by Thomas Green.

Size 9" high
3-1/2" across flared opening on top
2-3/4" across the bottom
Transfer All are perfect and bright. The African Daisy has a great bright orange color. This motif is often faded and pale.
Ground Very white
Glaze No crazing or any other glaze flaw, very shiny and new looking
Chips/Cracks None
Stains None, except for a very small amount of shelf wear on the unglazed bottom ring where it sits on a surface
Use Marks None. It is very clean inside and outside.
Other Comments A beautiful and impressive African Daisy Botanic Garden vase!

It is marked on the bottom with a Crest ID mark and was likely made in the middle 1980's or early 1990's.
