FLOWERS OF THE YEAR SOUP TUREEN LADLE - VERY RARE!
Hard To Find Retired Portmeirion Pattern - Excellent Condition!
|
I am happy to offer an unusual Flowers Of The Year ladle. It features three
flowers in the inside of the bowl along with a garland of blue green leaves
on the handle and around the ourside of the bowl. This retired pattern,
featuring 12 different flowers, was not made as a dinnerware pattern but
produced on serving ware and decorative shapes. It was not made in large quantities. This pattern would go well with Botanic Garden and add a few extra flowers to your set.
It is in excellent condition with no wear or crazing. There are a few minor, common, and tiny
factory flaws in the transfer at the top of the handle.
The Flowers Of The Year pattern, I believe, was made in the 1980's or 1990's
and has been retired for at least 15 years. It was a short lived pattern and
have not seen enough of it to know much about it.
