CARDEW / PORTMEIRION SMALL
VICTORIAN TEA TABLE TEAPOT
Retired Collectible One Cup Teapot With Botanic Garden
Miniatures!
|
I am happy to present an adorable Portmeirion By
Cardew Botanic Garden Victorian Tea Table teapot. It is in
excellent condition and was made in England!
In wonderful condition, with only two lines of VERY clean and hard to
see crazing on the minis. Please see the photos below.
The teapot shows a table covered with a cloth sporting many
Botanic Garden motifs. There is Peony, Christmas Rose, Passion
Flower and Cyclamen with Rhododendron and Forget-Me-Not
accents.
The area between the table and handle is painted with gold.

On the top, sitting on lace, we have a coffee pot in Christmas
Rose, sugar bowl in Rhododendron and cup/saucer in
Forget-Me-Not.

---> Front And Back <---
These teapots are no longer produced and were retired in the early 2000's.
---> Top Angle View <---
The teapot is 5-1/2" from handle to spout, about 3-3/4" high, to
the top of the coffee pot, and 3-1/2" across the bottom
There are no, cracks, or flaws and all the miniature pieces
are present. The gold part of the handle is shiny and perfect
with no loss of gold or 'rubs'.
Hard to notice, there are two very clean
and hard to see lines of crazing. One is in the front of the teapot
handle and the other, very short, is on the sugar bowl.
There are no marks on the bottom other than the Portmeirion logo
written in gold.
