BOTANIC GARDEN TREASURE FLOWER 13" OVAL PLATTER
Great Condition With Two Huge Moths!

I am pleased to offer a Botanic Garden 13" oval plate that carries the Treasure Flower or Gazania Ringens motif. The Treasure Flower motif was introduced in 1985 on salad plates and is still in production.

Size 13" by 9-1-4" across the top
Transfer Perfect 'overglaze' transfer which makes the edges well defined. Both the moths and flower transfers are perfect and bright.
Ground Very white
Glaze Very shiny overall and no crazing found.

There is only one short and shallow, almost microscopic, mark in the white area that is not noticeable until examined sideways and closely in a bright light. They are probably from another plate stacked on top rather than a knife. This is unfortunately common on many platters as one has a tendency to stack them without a paper towel in between.
Chips/Cracks None
Stains None, even the unglazed bottom foot is very clean
Use Marks See above in Glaze
Other Comments A very nice Treasure Flower platter with spectacular moths!

The bottom is unglazed with concentric circles to facilitate use in the oven.
