PORTMEIRION POMONA WHITE DUTCH CURRANT TIDBIT TRAY
Discontinued Early - Very Rare, Retired Fruit - Unusual Item!
|
I am happy to offer a minty Pomona tidbit tray featuring
the rare White Dutch Currant fruit in the 10 inch dinner plate size. The White Dutch Currant was retired very
early. Usually, the tidbit tray has two tiers and rarely three. Except for
on a dinnerware replacement website, I have never seen this tray with just one
tier.
I do have a new 2 tier set available and can substitute this plate in
the new set for a small extra charge. Please ask if you are interested.
This item is in minty condition! Please see all the photos and description below...
Pomona dishes have been produced both with and without an Ivy border. This
tray is based on the the older borderless style. Borderless plates have been retired
and replaced by an Ivy border on the edges.

It carries a round darker than usual brown colored ornate 'Pomona Goddess Of Fruit' ID mark. It was used until about 1985.
