The Rhododendron flower was an original 1973 coffee cup motif and later
included on a bread and butter plates in 1988. It remains in a current motif and is in
production today. It was based on an image in an 1840 book,
Moral of
Flowers by Mrs. Hey, illustrated by William Clarke, 1835 by A. Jacquemart.
