I am pleased to offer a very unique and rare two piece Portmeirion hand painted small Basin and Ewer set featuring sunflowers and bees on each piece. The set is about 5.5 inches wide and 4.5 inches high. This set would be nice for serving cream with coffee, a special sauce, or your favorite liquor!

It was hand painted and signed, with her full last name, by Debbie Woods who designed the item. I could not find anything about the history of this pattern, so might be a one of a kind item. It is in mint condition and very rare!


A series of hand painted Portmeirion Studio patterns were introduced in 1994. This pattern is very unusual and have never seen another like it. Unfortunately, the high quality hand painted series was discontinued in about 1997.

The sunflower with buzzing bee decoration is both on the top and bottom of the bowl.

Size	Basin - About 5-1/2" across the top, 2" high, and 2" across the bottom foot Pitcher - About 4-1/4" tall, 3-1/4" from handle to spout, and almost 2" across the bottom foot
Transfer	All are vibrant and colorful with no fading or other flaws seen
Ground	Very white
Glaze	No crazing or other glaze flaws noted

Stains	None, the bottom feet of each piece are very clean

Other Comments	Very pretty and hard to find Hand Painted signed set!

Each piece is marked with a Portmeiron Hand Painted ID mark and each is signed by Debbie Woods. Only the ID mark from the bowl is pictured. The ID mark on the pitcher is very similar except that Debbie's signature is intermingled with the ID mark as there is not much white space left for a signature.
