BOTANIC GARDEN RHODODENDRON SMALL PUNCH BOWL CUP
Made Years Ago As Part Of A Punch Set - Pretty Flower!
|
I am pleased to offer a Rhododendron or Rhododendron Lepidotum punch bowl cup. A series
of little cups were made in the 1970's to be a part of a punch set. They have
been discontinued for many years and are now getting hard to find.
The Rhododendron flower was an original 1973 coffee cup motif and later
included on a bread and butter plates in 1988. It remains in a current motif and is in
production today. It was based on an image in an 1840 book,Moral of
Flowers by Mrs. Hey, illustrated by William Clarke, 1835 by A. Jacquemart.
