BIRDS OF BRITAIN 8 INCH SALAD PLATE - TURTLE DOVE
Retired Green Band - Mint With No Crazing Or Use!
|
I am happy to present a Portmeirion Birds Of Britain 8 inch salad plate featuring
the Turtle Dove or Streptopelia Turtur bird. This plate is ringed with a Green Band, retired
many years ago. Green band plates are now difficult to find.
The plate is in remarkable condition with no flaws, crazing or signs of use.
It is hard to find a Birds Of Britain plate in such excellent condition!
Green band accents on Portmeirion items were discontinued many years ago due to
production problems. The Bird Of Britain series currently uses an Acorn pattern.
