MEASUREMENTS I am happy to offer a small Pomona cup and saucer set featuring the Grimwoods Royal George Peach fruit. It holds about 3 oz for Denitasse or Expresso. This cup shape is unusual as most demitasse cups have a bulbous shape and this has slanted sides. This shape was discontinued years ago and both pieces are in mint condition!

The cup on this set has a green oval 2nds ID mark. I do not see any quality issues and think this cup was produced in a Special Decoration run or was a sample. All the demitasse cups I have seen all have the fruit repeated on front and back. This item has a Pomona Apple Blossom on the back.


The Grimwoods Royal George Peach motif is an original fruit on Pomona and is still in production today.

Size	Cup - 2-3/4" high and 2-1/2" wide at the widest (without handle), and 1-3/8" across the bottom foot Saucer - A touch over 5" across. This saucer is a little larger and a slightly different shape than the borderless saucers. Liquid Capacity - About 3oz, maybe a little more to the brim
Transfer	The fruit transfer is on the front and a Pomona Apple Blossom on the back. Both are perfect without flaw.

Glaze	No crazing and nice shiny glaze overall

Stains	None, even the unglazed band on the bottom where it sits is very clean

As mentioned above, the bottom is marked with a green oval 2nds ID. Most likely, it was a one of a kind item made in small quantities and has an Apple Blossom on the back rather than a repeat of the fruit.
