POMONA GRIMWOODS ROYAL GEORGE PEACH PIN DISH
X'ed Out Second With Only One Glaze Bump - Useful Pomona Item!
|
I am pleased to offer a Pomona pin dish featuring the Grimwoods Royal George Peach fruit.
Pomona pin dishes are not often seen. The Grimwoods Peach is a Pomona fruit still in production.
This pin dish has an Xed out ID mark indicating that a quality flaw is present.
The only flaw I see is one glaze bump on the face near the inner edge. It is small, but not tiny, and
not very noticeable. Otherwise, it is in great condition. I have seen much worse flaws on 1st quality pieces.
The Grimwoods Peach is still found on the basic set of Pomona plates.
The glaze flaw is at about 8 o'clock in the photo above. It was too small to be photographed.

Other Comments |
A hard to find Pomona Grimwoods Peach fruit on a pin dish!
|
The ID mark is a small salmon or pinkish round circle Goddess Of Fruit mark.
The backstamp has a scratched out X which indicates a quality 2nd. The X is
too faint to be photographed. There is only one flaw which is a glaze bump described above.
